Last monthend my native place Shenbagavalli Amman temple Kumbabishekam was done. It is in Kovilpatti, thoothukudi dist. The photos of the newly built Rajagopuram and the existing gopuram views are attached below.
On entrance the existing Amman gopuram is there. On entrancing we can see the Vinayagar on left side and Arumugar on right side.Then you can see the main deity Shenbagavalli amman. On the backside of amman there are Lakshmi, Saraswathi and on side praharam Durgai are there.On right side of the existing gopuram New Rajagopuram for sivan named as Poovananathaswamy is built. We can view the gopuram and the deity. The temple built some 950 years back by Pallava kings. The kumbabishekam was done in a grand manner. All people helped voluntarily and donated huge amounts voluntarily. It gives a good look now.

Lokpal

Govt. is taking time to save its face from the embrassment of including Group 'C' employees and CBI under Lokpal net. They have lostfaces in 2G,Chidambaram issue. Moreover they have to win the election in UP. so they are in tight spot and have to manage Anna Hazara. So atlast Sonia also entered the arena after all the ministers. Let us see

RESERVATIONS IN IIT AND IIM

THE RECENT HUE ABOUT RESERVATION FOR OBCS IN IITS AND IIMS IS TO BE DEBATED. POLITICIANS MADE THE ANNOUNCEMENTS WITHOUT THINKING AND TO CAPTURE VOTES. ALREADY THERE ARE RESERVATIONS IN PROFESSIONAL COURSES FOR OBCS. IF THE GOVT WANT TO RAISE THE LEVEL OF OBCS LET THEM TRAIN THEM IN A PRESTIGEOUS INTITUTION TO THE STANDARD OF TOP CLASS MERIT STUDENTS. NOW SO MANY STUDENTS IRRESPECTIVE OF CASTE ARE IN MERRIT. SO LET THE GOVT SELECT THE POORER STUDENTS FROM OBCS AND TRAIN THEM TO ACHIEVE MAXIMUM SKILL. THIS WILL GIVE THEM EQUAL GROUND AND MAKE THEM SELF CONFIDENT. ALSO NOW MOST OF OBCS GETTING BENEFITTED FROM RESERVATIONS ARE FROM HIGHER ECHEOLONS ONLY. THE BOTTOM LINE PEOPLE DIDNT GET THE BENEFIT. FIRST THE POLITICIANS DO AWAY THIS ANOMOLY. THEN THINK OF RESERVATION IN HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS. I AM NOT AGAINST THE RESERVATION. I AM ALSO A BACKWARD CASTE PERSON.

Socalled Politicians

Recently the new Chief Minister aspirant Thiru.Vijayakant,DMMK told{pulambinr} in a meeting
that already he spent Rs.2 crores in the last Two years for welfare of people. So he asked people to give him a chance to become CM. So he clearly tells that he wants toearn if he becomes CM.I think no politician has told like this in the recent years. He openly admits that he is coming to politics for earning only. That is the state of poliltics now. Whenever anybody politician or official found wealth more than his income from legal earnings the cases should be completed within a period of 3 months and all the properties should be confiscated. If that is done atleast 75% corruption willl be elilminated. Sometimes the punishment in Muslim countries seems to be reallistic.

UPLIFTING DALITS

NOW ALL POLITICAL LEADERS ARE TALKING HIGH ABOUT UPLIFTING DALITS ONLY ON LIPS. NOT IN REALITY. RECENTLY IN SIGANGA DIST. KANDADEVI TEMPLE FESTIVAL DALITS WERE BARRED FROM TOUCHING THE TEMPLE CAR ROPE. THIS IS BEING DONE FOR THE PAST SOMANY YEARS. NOW COURT INTERVENED AND ORDERED TO INCLUDE DALITS IN THE FESTIVAL AND ASKED THE DISTRICT COLLECTOR TO SEND A REPORT. THE COLLECTOR ALSO SEND A REPORT IN GOOD FAITH THERE WAS NOW VIOLATION OF COURT ORDER AND DALITS WERE ALLOWED TO TOOK PART IN THE FESTIVAL. BUT IN REALITY IT WAS NOT SO. THE CASTE HINDUS DIDNT ALLOW DALITS. WHY SO MUCH HUE AND CRY? IF THE POLITICAL PARTIES ARE REALLY AND SERIOUSLY INTERESTED THE MATTER IS NOTHING. THE SOCALLED DALITS GUARDIANS PARTIES SHOULD TELL ALL THEIR PARTY MEN TO MAKE THE DALITS TAKE PART IN THEFESTIVAL AND ALL OTHER SOCIAL FUNCTIONS. IF IT IS DONE THERE WILL NOT BE ANY ILLFEELINGS AND THE RESERVATION POLICY MAY BE SCARAPPED WITHIN 5 YEARS. WILL THE POLITICAL PARTY LEADERS SUCH MR. RAMDOSS, KARUNANITHI,G,K.VASAN ALL IN ONE UMBRELLA DO THIS?
